| BobCats Testimonial Letters
Here are more letters singing high praises of the BobCats. Where ever they perform the word is out! These are from the owners of clubs, staff at these venues, event planners and fans of all ages who have witnessed and enjoyed their rare talent live. Enjoy!
- Having known the BobCats band both professionally and personally for almost 4 years in my role as bartender at the Rusty Gull Pub in North Vancouver, I feel that they are a great asset to our business. They conduct themselves in a respectful, friendly and spontaneous manner when performing here.
The BobCats produce a tight, dynamic and totally professional musical experience for our clientel. The BobCats connect positively with both staff and customers, and they have developed a strong following that returns time after time to fill our pub and enjoy their show.

The BobCats are a very versatile band with nostalgic music, and the songs ranging from the late 50's right to the present, are most delightful to listen to. One cannot help but to tap along with the rhythms as the music comes alive, I can tell you.
I've had the pleasure of listening to them at the Lulu's Lounge in Richmond's River Rock Casino, on several occasions. Each and every member of the group performed most professionally, and did full justice to the characters of original hits. And what a repertoire...!!!
I've even had wonderful opportunities of talking to Danny Casavant on more than two occasions. I told him about the slick riffs and licks from his Fender Stratocaster, not forgetting the charming notes from the keyboard.
Keep up with the beautiful job, BobCats!!! And keep the hits coming. You guys are attracting loads of fans, "ME"...amongst the diehards surely....Hahahhhhaaa!!!
Lookin' forward to seeing u guys again,....hopefully soon...

- Our whole family LOVES the BobCats! Whenever one or both of our kids come home from work or university, they inevitably ask "So when are we going to see the BobCats?" They are not only a lot of fun to see, hear and dance to, but their performances offer a unique experience that is satisfying to the soul. There are many cover bands out there, many bands that can perform credible replicas of rock and roll standards. But how many of these bands can make each song sound like their own, while remaining true to the song's exact arrangement and original spirit? The BobCats perform this amazing balancing act consistently and effortlessy, like no other band in the city. In fact, I'm realizing right now as I write this, that I'm in need of a BobCats' fix . . . soon!

The BobCats are the real thing. Danny and Bob fell in love with the music they
play when it was new and they were kids. Over the intervening decades, their
talent and taste have grown and their skills have developed, but the abiding
affection for the rock-n-roll of their youth is unchanged. What they play is
not note-for-note copies of the Beatles and their contemporaries, but honest
and personal interpretations, true to the originals in a way that is way ahead
of slavish imitations. If you share this enthusiasm, or even if you are just
looking for an enjoyable way to spend a couple of musical hours, you can't go
wrong listening to the BobCats!

Some of our testimonials are in the form of letters. This one we are particularly proud of comes from one of the venues we frequent regularly in North Vancouver, The Rusty Gull Pub. We would like to share it with you in its entirity:
-
The Rusty Gull Pub has been the primary North Shore venue for the best in live music for the past 22 years. With up to 20 phone calls a week from bands wishing to play our room we are in a position to be very selective as to who we choose to hire.
Three members of the BobCats have a long history with us. Bob White and Danny Casavant (in their duo Fat City) played our pub from 1983, when we opened, right up to 1989, when they disbanded. Later, Danny played as lead guitarist/singer with Billy Cowsill's band up until he left the band in 1992.
Bob White also appeared in the early 90's along with Bobcats bass player Jimmy Walker and vocalist Mary Orban in the Rockolas. Danny returned with the Big Dawg Band with Mike Henry on vocals in 1998.
When Danny approached me with the BobCats in 2001 I knew I could trust him to provide a class act, and it has certainly been proven true. The BobCats play a unique variety of musical styles played with accuracy and love, exactly as the songs were originally recorded, along with a distinct BobCats taste.
To hear them for an evening is to become addicted to this fun band with an appeal that reaches and includes all age groups
The BobCats play every other Wednesday evening at the Gull, as well as regular weekend dates throughout the year. Over the last four years the BobCats have developed a loyal following with their unique style of music and energetic performances.
From an owner/operator's point of view I know I can be guaranteed a full room of happy customers whenever the BobCats perform at the Rusty Gull. The entire band is totally professional, on time and respectful of our staff and customers.
We look forward to many more years doing business and having fun together.
